PARIS DECLARATION ON BUILDING INDEPENDENT EUROPE!

We, who participate in the “Seminar on the Juche idea for European Independence in the Present World” with an ardent desire for independence and peace, adopt his declaration, with full determination to build an independent Europe.

Understanding that to realize independence of Europe is of great significance in building an independent new world under the banner of Juche, we declare as follows in the name of independent forces valuing independence and peace and aspiring after independent development of the continent.

1. Europe has no other choice but independence.

Human history is the history of the people’s struggle for independence. The process of social progress is the process through which the aspiration for independence of the people, masters of society is being realized.

It is important in achieving the cause of global independence that Europe takes the road to independence. If the developed Europe becomes an independent continent, a radical change would be brought about in building a new independent world.

Under the condition that imperialist domination forces find satisfaction in realizing their ambition for world supremacy through “uni-polarization”, if Europe forms political community to stand against the machination, Europe will be a pole and promote the multi-polarization of the world.

The people in Europe should achieve an independent development of the continent and thus make an active contribution to making the world multi-polarized and developing the world in the direction of independence.

The independence alone will bring about the independence and prosperity to the European continent.

2. THE IDEOLOGY OF INDEPENDENCE IS NECESSARY TO DEFEND INDEPENDENCE

The struggle to defend and realize independence requires conscious participation of the popular masses.

Only the people who are awaken to ideology of independence can play their role as subject in building an independent new world. The primary task in the struggle for making Europe independent is to make people in Europe conscious with the ideology of independence.

As science and technology develop to a high degree and all domains are information-oriented so as to make people’s labour technical and intelligent, progressive ideas play greater role in enhancing the level of awareness of independence.

The Juche idea set independence, the essential attribute of man in the fore and gave satisfactory answers to the theoretical and practical issues arising in its realization.

The Juche idea inspires people to independence and self-reliance.

When the people become conscious of the Juche idea, they will rise as one in the sacred struggle for realizing independence of the country, nation and the popular masses with the spirit of independence and conviction in independence.

3. IT IS IMPORTANT TO STRUGGLE AGAINST ALL KINDS OF DOMINATION AND PRESSURE

The struggle for independence is above all, the struggle against all sorts of domination and subjugation.

To struggle against the moves of interference, pressure and domination is the primary issue in building of the independent Europe.

If Europe opposes imperialist domination and pressure and take the road to independence, its influence on the progressive people over the world will be great, making an active contribution to building a new independent world.

Unity in the independent forces should be made firm on European arena. All countries and people should raise their voice of solidarity and conduct cooperative and concerted action more actively in the struggle for anti-imperialist independence and anti-war peace.

The success and reality of the DPRK that is building a powerful and prosperous nation against vicious isolation and suffocation moves of the US, under the banner of the great Songun politics is an example and inspiration to struggle for independence against imperialism.

Songun politics performed by the respected comrade Kim Jong Il by embodying the Juche idea is invincible weapon that guarantees victory of socialism, world peace and security for national sovereignty against the imperialist moves for aggression and suffocation.

The people in all countries should learn from the just struggle of the Korean people who are victorious under Songun politics and should extend active support to and solidarity with the Korean people who are fighting against imperialist aggressive forces under the banner of independence.

4. IT IS NECESSARY TO ACTIVELY CONDUCT THE STUDY AND DISSEMINATION OF THE JUCHE IDEA

The study and dissemination of the Juche idea is of big importance in the struggle for European independence.

The present reality requires conducting the study and dissemination of the Juche idea more actively than ever before.

We should more deeply study the principles of the Juche idea and actively disseminate it, combining it with the struggle for European independence.

We should expand the study organizations and ensure uniform link and cooperation among them, increasing the number of core members for the future.

It is also important to conduct the study and dissemination of the Juche idea in various forms and methods effectively according to the specific situation of each country and create and generalize new experience, while pushing ahead with the work.

We, the Juche idea followers should arm the people with the idea of independence and stand in the van of the struggle for independence and peace in Europe and the world.

The cause of the people who are fighting for the building of independent and peaceful new Europe under the banner of the great Juche idea will surely win victory.
