Juche outlook on the Revolution(2)
We’ ve studied above
what the revolution is, how it takes place and develops, and how the motive
force of the revolution approaches to the revolution.
The term motive force of
the revolution has been questioned a lot while arguing the revolution and the
law of its origin and development. Then, what is the motive force of the
revolution?
Having a correct of and
attitude towards the motive force of the revolution is vital to establishing
the outlook on the revolution.
The question on the
motive force of the revolution is the related to the question on the performer
that gives rise to the revolution and develops it.
Therefore, only when one
has a correct viewpoint of and attitude towards motive force of the revolution,
can one have a deep understanding of
what the revolution is and how it develops and carry out the revolution
and construction successfully.
Series 9 refers to the
viewpoint of and attitude towards the motive force of the revolution which are
important in establishing the outlook on the revolution.
What is the
motive force the revolution?
The motive force of the
revolution is the performer that causes and develops the revolutionary
movement. In other words, it is the popular masses who shape their destiny
independently and creatively.
Only when the popular
masses form an integral whole firmly rallied as are under the leadership of the
leader and the party, can they became the motive force of the revolution. So,
we regard the motive force of the revolution as the integral whole of the
leader, the party and the masses.
Then, what contents are
specifically included in the viewpoint of and attitude towards the motive force
of the revolution?
First of all, it is the
outlooks on the leader, the organization and the masses.
Since the motive force
of the revolution is the integral whole of the leader, the party and the
masses, it is natural that the viewpoint of and attitude towards motive force
of the revolution include the outlooks on the leader, the organization and the
masses.
Next, it is the
revolutionary outlook of ethics. As the revolutionary principle of ethics is
implied in the relation between the leader, the party and the masses, the
revolutionary outlook of ethics is also included in the contents of the
viewpoint of and attitude towards the motive force of the revolution.
Now, let us study them
one by one.
1.
The Revolutionary Outlook
on the Leader.
If man is to live
truthfully, doing the revolution, he or she must have a correct viewpoint of and
attitude towards the leader.
Without the leader, it
is neither possible to open up the revolutionary cause of the working class,
nor advance and accomplish it victoriously. So, the question of the leader is
the core in the revolutionary movement.
Because the
revolutionary cause of the working class is the cause of the leader, one must
be true to the leader to carry out the revolution properly and, to their end,
people should have a correct viewpoint of and attitudes towards the leader.
The revolutionary
outlook on the leader is the most correct viewpoint of and attitude towards
leader.
Let us see the contents
of the revolutionary outlook on the leader.
The great leader Comrade
Kim Jong Il said that the revolutionary outlook on the leader is the most
correct viewpoint on the position and role of the leader in the revolutionary
struggle of the working class and the attitude of the having the leader in high
esteem in sincerity.
- The revolutionary outlook on the leader is a correct viewpoint of and attitude towards the position and role of the leader.
The leader holds and
absolute position and plays decisive role in the revolutionary struggle of the
popular masses for independence.
The leader is the
supreme representative and supreme leader of the popular masses.
The position and role of
the leader in the revolutionary movement, if it is man’ s body, is as same as
the position occupied by the brain in man’ s body and the role played by it in
his life activities. All the nerves for man’ s action are concentrated in the
brain, and the brain coordinates and controls them to make man’ s body act as
an integrated whole.
As man’ s brain controls
life activities of organism, so the leader commands activities of the popular
masses in a unified way.
The leader is the
supreme representative of the popular masses.
This means that the
leader is the only one who personifies the desire and will of the popular
masses.
No an individual can
represent the desire and will of the popular masses. Although an individual has
a distinguished talents, he is nothing but a member of the popular masses and
his will and desire is a part of the demand and interests of the popular
masses.
Only the leader can
fully embody the desire and will of the popular masses and represent their
interests.
The leader is a great
man who has boundless love for the popular masses and noble desire to meet
their aspiration and who possesses an outstanding ability to analyze,
synthesize and systematize the desire and will of the popular masses.
The leader is elected
the leader of the people by the unanimous desire and will of the popular
masses.
As seen above, the
leader becomes the supreme representative of the popular masses.
The leader is the
supreme leader who commands the activity of the popular masses in a unified
way. Without a unified command, it is impossible to maintain the existence of
social community, to say nothing of its activity.
The supreme leader is
the leader who commands the masses’ activity in a unified way.
The position and role of
the leader as the supreme representative and the supreme leader of the popular
masses is argued in three aspects.
Above all, the leader
creates the guiding idea of the revolution to show the way ahead of the people.
A correct guiding idea
is as same as the compass of a ship. Like a ship can make a smooth sail through
the wild ocean only with the help of the compass, the popular masses can
advance straightly forward along the road of the revolution only when they have
the guiding idea of the revolution which shows the way ahead of the revolution.
Not anybody can create
the guiding idea of the revolution.
Of course, individuals
that form the popular masses can present ideas or opinions this or that on the
basis of their knowledge and practical experiences. However, such are always
simple and immatured.
Unless knowledge and
experience acquired by the masses are scientifically analyzed, synthesized and
generalized, it cannot become the guiding idea of the revolution.
Only the leader of the
working class can create the guiding idea of the revolution.
Why so?
It is because the leader
of the working class is an outstanding thinker and theoretician, with unusual
wisdom, scientific clairvoyance and rich experience.
The revolutionary idea
created by the leader shows clearly the way to achieve national and class and
win the final victory in the people’ s cause for independence the leader unites
the popular masses into one political force to bring up a powerful
revolutionary force.
This is the decisive
guarantee for the revolution.
The masses that are
spontaneous and dispersed are powerless and destined to failure in the
revolution.
The leader creates a
correct revolutionary idea which reflects fully the people’ s demand for independence and their will to lay
the ideological foundation for rallying the people with one.
And he organizes and
leads the work to arm the masses with the revolutionary idea.
He also trains the hard
cores of the revolution and founds revolutionary political organization such as
the party and mass organization around which unites the working class and other
as an organized and revolutionary force.
The leader pushes ahead
with the whole process of accomplishing the cause of revolution by organizing
and leading the popular masses.
He puts forward the
correct strategies, and tactics and the slogans of the struggle in every period
and stage of the revolutionary struggle. He also makes up organizations of
mechanism to ensure the unified activities of the masses and commands their
activity in a unified way. With his seasoned art of leadership he advances the
revolution to victory by motivating and giving full play to the strength of the
masses.
The leader is a great
man with prominent traits and qualification.
The leader of the
working class is the great thinker and theoretician with the wisdom of
far-sightness and outstanding perspicacity: he is the possessor of
distinguished leadership: and he is the paternal father of the people with who
has noble traits of communist ethics and loves the people boundlessly.
As the leader is the
great man of having such outstanding traits and qualification, he becomes the
supreme brain and the sun of the revolution.
As seen above, the
leader possesses outstanding traits and qualification that a great man has and
holds the position which nobody can replace and plays decisive role in the
revolutionary struggle of the working class.
- The revolutionary outlook on the leader is the stand on and attitude
towards the faithful holding of the leader.
What stand and attitude
should the popular masses have in the relationship with the leader?
In a word, it is the
stand and attitude to hold the leader in high esteem with sincerity.
The popular masses must,
above all, hold the leader in high esteem with loyalty and ensure his authority
in every way.
This is the requirement
to ensure the absolute position of the leader.
We must have the leader
in high esteem with loyalty.
The greatest fortune for
the popular masses is having the outstanding leader.
History shows that only
the people who had the outstanding leader and his leadership have been able to
become true masters of their destinies and enjoyed the most valuable lives as
social.
The popular masses
should respect the leader boundlessly, depend their destiny on him and hold him
in high esteem as the greatest man.
We must ensure the
authority of the leader in every possible way.
This is the basic
requirement to defend and advance the revolution.
It is because the
imperialists and the reactionary forces that run against the people’ s cause
for independence concentrate their attacks to having the leader and abusing his
authority, resort to every possible means and methods to make it succeeded.
It is the true color of
the opportunists and plotters to abuse the authority of the leader.
As is known, in the
early period of 1st Comintern Pakunin despicably manoeuvred to abuse
the authority of Marx . Kurushov and Gorvachov
ran amuck to slander Stalin. Kautsky and Bernstein revised Marxism. Trotsky and
Bukharin were against Leninism all them are the plotters who rejected the
leadership of the leader and abused his authority.
Even a slightest
concession should not be made in relation with the authority of the leader ---
this is the serious lesson left by a hundred and tens of year long history of
the international communist movement.
Therefore, the popular
masses must defend the devote themselves to leader politically and
ideologically and ensure his authority is every possible way.
Next, the popular masses
must regard the ideology and intention of the leader as their belief and carry
them out thoroughly. This is a basic guarantee for ensuring the decisive role
of the leader in the revolutionary struggle.
The masses must regard
the ideology and intention of the leader as their belief.
Only the ideology and
theory which are taken an belief by the people can reality.
The popular masses must
accept and regard them as the most correct and the only guideline of in their
life. They must defend them and think and act as required by them.
The masses must carry
them out thoroughly, carrying out the leader’ s ideology and intention is
precisely the process to advance the revolution to victory and to shape one’ s
destiny.
The popular masses must
accept the leader’ s ideology and intention as the law, and supreme command and
sacrifice themselves to their fulfilment without any conditionality.
The Juche revolutionary
outlook on the leader have been explained so far now.
Then, what is the originality and significance of the
Juche outlook on the leader which clarified the position and role of the leader
and stand on and attitude towards the leader?
The Juche revolutionary
outlook on the leader is original, for it overcame the limitation of the
existing theory which regarded the leader as an individual.
The founders of Marxsim
and Leninism attacked a great importance in the role of the leader in
accomplishing the cause of the revolution of the working class and argued that
the leader of the working class is inseparably linked with party and the people
and that the party and the masses are led by the leader. But it was the view
that saw the leader as an individual.
Such a view has
theoretical limitations that make it impossible clarify correctly the position
and role of the leader and the stand on and attitude towards having the leader
in high esteem.
The view of the leader
clarified by the Juche idea maintains that the position and role of the leader
is totally different from the position and role of an individual.
As the leader is the supreme representative of
the popular masses who embodies the interests of the all working masses
including working class and carries them out, he is distinguished from any
individuals.
As to the position and
role of an individual in historical development and revolutionary struggle, an
individual only holds the position and plays the role as a component member of
the popular masses.
Not an individuals can
represent the popular masses as a whole and lead them.
Since the leader
represents the interests of the working class and other working masses and
decides their position and role, he should to be distinguished from individual.
Because the revolutionary
outlook on the leader was established by the Juche idea, the people could have
been united as the motive force of the revolution with a firm conviction
that most important any shaping their
destiny is to worship the leader infinitely, being loyal to him, and their
destiny can be successfully shaped only when they follow the way indicated by
the leader.
In addition, a powerful
guarantee could have been made for expecting and smashing all kinds of the
leadership of the leader and counter revolutionary schemes which reject and
abuse and bringing about the continuous advance and upsurge of the
revolutionary movement.
The Juche philosophy
should hold the highest and the most brilliant place in the history of human
thought, for if the Juche outlook on the leader which gives the most correct
answer to the question of the leader which is of great importance both
theorectically and practically in shaping the destiny of the popular masses.
2. The
Revolutionary Outlook on the Organization.
We have studied above the revolutionary outlook on
the leader. Now let’ s see the
revolutionary outlook on the organization.
- In order to do the revolution successfully, one must have the revolutionary outlook on the organization.
What is the
revolutionary outlook on the organization?
Generally speaking, the
outlook on the organization is the concept of and attitude towards the
organization. There are different forms of organization whose character are vary;
organizations of reactionary social forces and organizations of the popular
masses.
Even in the case of
organizations of the popular masses, some sophisticated but some are not in
terms of the levels of their development or, some are social and political
organizations and some are executive ones.
Of all these
organizations, the revolutionary outlook on the organization is the concept of
and attitude towards the true social and political organization of the popular
masses.
The great leader Comrade
Kim Jong Il said.
“The outlook on the
organization implies the concept of and attitude towards not only the party
organization but also all the social and political organizations which link the
leader with the masses under the leadership of the party.”
The revolutionary
outlook on the organization is the concept of and attitude towards the party
organization of the working class.
The party organization
is the core and guiding organization of the popular masses.
The party organization
concentrates the aspiration and demand of the masses to the leader, let the
people know the ideology and intention of the leader and leads they to act as
refuired by them.
In this way, the party
organization plays such role as to link the leader with the masses and ensurely
the unified leadership of the leader in the socio-political community.
The revolutionary
outlook on the organization also implies the concept of and attitude towards
all the other social and political organizations which are under the leadership
of the party.
Such organizations are
the massive organization which involes a broad masses and the political
organization which links the leader with the masses.
Since the party of the
working class is originally the vanguard detachment organized with the working
class and the vanguard fighters of the working masses, not all members of
society become party members.
It is none other than
the social and political organizations which are under the leadership of the
party that rally all works of masses. According to occupations or classes and
ensure the organizational kinks with the leader and the masses.
The revolutionary
outlook on the organization is, in the long run, the concept of and attitude
towards party organization of the working class and all other social and
political organizations which are under the leadership of the party.
Establishing the
revolutionary outlook on the organization is an important question which
decides the victory of the revolution.
As stated above, the
revolution is an organizational struggle of the popular masses. In other words,
it is the struggle of the popular masses to form the organizations and do
struggle with the strength of the organizations.
- Therefore, according to whether the popular masses have a proper concept of and attitude towards the organization or not, the success of the revolution, the organizationed struggle, is decided.
Then, what concept of and attitude towards the
revolutionary organization should we have?
- The revolutionary outlook on the organization is the concept and attitude which value and respect the party organization and the social and political organization that are under the leadership of the party as the parent body of one’ s life.
The party organization
and the social and political organizations are the parent body of the
socio-political integrity of individuals.
This means the social
and political organizations including the party organization are the
organizations which give the people the socio-political integrity and protect
and lead them to add luster to it.
As studied in series 2,
man has not only physical life but also socio-political integrity.
For physical life is
valuable, but no more than the socio-political integrity.
This is because man is a
social being. If man has physical life only, his life is as same animals.
In order to live as
human being, man must have the socio-political integrity.
It is social and
political organizations that five man socio-political integrity and protected
lead them to add luster to it.
Why is it so?
Only when individuals
become a member of the socio-political community can they have socio-political
integrity.
Individuals are linked
with the socio-political community by the party organization and other social
and political organizations which are under the leadership of the party.
The conclusion that the
people must value and respect the organization comes from the fact that the
revolutionary organizations including the party organization are the parent
body of socio-political integrity of individuals.
To value and respect the
organization means valuing the revolutionary organization more than the life of
an individual and respecting the decision and will of the organization.
Like children love and
respect their parents, individuals members of the revolutionary organization
should been it as their moral obligation to respect the revolutionary
organization which give them socio-political integrity as their mother, value
its interests more than their life and devote their all for its development.
The will and decision of
the organization is not the will of an individual. They are the will and demand
of all members of the community and the duty that all members of the
organization must execute.
If one does not respect
the will and decision of the organization but ignore them and act at one’ s
pleasure, the socio-political community itself can not be preserved nor the
political life of the individuals be maintained.
Therefore, valuing and
respecting the revolutionary organization becomes the most correct concept and
attitude that all people who have political life must acquire.
- The revolutionary outlook on the organization is the concept and attitude which acquire the people to rely on the organization and live and work under its guidance.
This means that the
people rely their destiny on the revolutionary organization and live and work
willingly under its day-to-day guidance.
The revolutionary
organization not only gives political life to the people but is the protector
that looks after and leads them to shine it.
Like mothers give
children physical life and look after them to live truly, the revolutionary
organization gives socio-political integrity to the people and leads them to
shine it. It guides and ensures the organizational and ideological life of the
members of organization.
Organizational life is
political activity of the members of organization, who carry out the
revolutionary tasks assigned by the organization under its guidance.
The member of
organization temper their party spirit steadily and always act as a member of
the organization in the course of the organizational life. In the course of
implementing the decision and assignment of the organization and the
revolutionary tasks assigned by the party, they are best owed with the trust
live of the organization and add luster to their political life.
Ideological life is
political life through which the members of organization have political problem
keep their political life. It is only when individuals are armed with the
ideology of the leader through ideological life that they can be linked the
leader ideologically and maintain their political life. Just as a man eats food
to maintain his physical life, so revolutionaries should make the revolutionary
ideology of the leader their lifehood through ideological life share the
destiny with the party.
Through the guidance of
our organizational and ideological life of the people the revolutionary organizations, will be able to
consolidate the close ties of kinship with the leader and the members of
organization and help the people absorb the nutrition for their political life
to glorify the immortal social and political integrity. Therefore, the
organization entirely rely their destiny on the revolutionary organization and
make a conscious efforts to be under the guidance of the organization.
When the people have a
correct understanding of the revolutionary organization as the protector of the
political life, will they be frank to the organization about their life and
even private matter in family life solve them according to the will of the
organization. If they don’ t rely on the organization take diplomatic nuance
toward it and try to get out its guidance, they will leave a stain to their
political life or lose it.
It is the requirement of
the political life and the most correct concept and attitude that revolutionaries
should have to live and work relying on the on the organization, with the
awareness that the organization is precious and to make a conscious efforts to
be under the guidance of the organization.
It is of a great significance that the revolutionary outlook on the organization is developed and systematized by the Juche idea as an important component of the Juche outlook on revolution.
The clarification of concept and attitude that one must value and respect the party organization and the social and political organizations under the leadership of the party as the parent body of political life and that one must live and work, relying on the organization, gave a new scientific explanation of the revolutionary organizations including the party organization.
In addition, a guidance of sophistry of the reactionaries and opportunists that reject the leadership of the party and abuse the organizational life as a “shackle to freedom” and to further strengthen the organizational life among the people, with a view ot shape their destiny.
3. The Revolutionary Outlook
on the Masses.
- In order to do the revolution well, one must have a correct outlook on the masses.
Generally speaking, the outlook on the masses is the concept and attitude of how to view and approach the popular masses.
As you know, the popular masses were the motive force of history in any age and society. It were the popular masses who gave rise to and propelled socio-historical movement.
However, the concept of and the attitude towards the popular masses were not same in any age, and society.
The class and people who were against the popular masses without exception, have had a wrong view of the masses.
For example, the exploiting class views the popular masses as miserable being and the object of their subjugation and plunder.
The bourgeois reactionaries view the popular masses as one of the means for material production, or worthless being with a labour force that is bargained as goods, or an enervated being dominated by gold.
Fundamentally different from this the revolutionary outlook on the masses is the concept and the attitude towards the popular masses viewed from the working-class stand.
The concept of and the attitude towards the popular masses is principle question related to the destiny of the revolution.
How socialism was collapsed in former Soviet Union and east European countries ?
The main cause is that the popular masses, the motive force, failed to play the role as master.
Then why the popular masses failed to do so?
In those countries, the popular mode of politics and was not establish politics became the undertakings of special people. Those who labeled themselves as politicians had a wrong concept of and attitude towards the popular masses and as a result, they abused their authority and bureaucratically.
Who will like this?
The party and state power were divorced from the popular masses and finally socialism was collapsed.
Without further explanation, we can understand that the concept of and attitude towards the popular masses is the basic question that decides the success and failure of the revolution and construction.
If one has a wrong concept of and attitude towards the popular masses, one will be demand by the people, the ranks of the revolution be disorganized, and in the long run the revolution be ruined.
On the contrary, when one has a correct concept of and attitude towards the popular masses, one will enjoy the supported from the people, the ranks of the revolution be united and finally the revolution be victorious. This is the truth that the history of revolutionary struggle of the working class proves.
What are the correct concept of and attitude towards the popular masses?
The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il said.
“The revolutionary outlook on the masses is the concept and attitude of regarding the masses as the masters of the revolution and serving them, and of carrying out the revolution by believing in and relying on their exhaustible strength.”
The revolutionary outlook on the masses has two aspects in its content. One is the concept and attitude of regarding the masses as the masters of the revolution and serving them. The other is that it is the concept and attitude of carrying out the revolution by believing in and relying on their exhaustible strength.
Let us study one by one.
- The revolutionary outlook on the masses is the concept and attitude of regarding the masses as the masters of the revolution and serving them.
What is the concept and attitude of regarding the masses as the masters of the revolution and serving them?
Regarding the masses as the masters of the revolution means regarding them as powerful beings who are directly responsible for doing the revolution and construction decide its victory.
The popular masses have desire, to lead a free and happy life free from all kinds of domination and subjugation, which is realized through the revolution.
It naturally make them to do the revolution.
The popular masses have inexhaustible creative abilities to realize such desire for independence.
So they give rise to and propel the revolution with their own strength.
Either individuals or small communities of this or that can become the masters of the revolution only when they become the members of the popular masses and are included in such a big community as the popular masses.
Any way, to regard the popular masses as the masters of the revolution is quiet natural.
If one lacks the understanding that the people are the masters of the revolution, one will look down upon the masses, shout at them and regard themselves as special beings that lord it over the masses. This hinders the progress of the revolution and the building of a new society.
When one views the people as the master of the revolution, he can have the stand of serving the people in practical activity.
Serving the people means respecting and defending their demands and interests and devoting one in all for their implementation.
What is important in regarding the people as the masters of the revolution and serving them?
First of all, one must go among the masses, heed their voices, respect their will and solve their problems in time.
Neglecting they demand and interests of the people forcing them to accept one’ s subjective demand are as same as not regarding them as the master of the revolution. Neglecting or deferring the problems that the people desire for or want to solve is tantamount to not serving them.
Next, one must help the people to be aware of their demand and interests and lead them to the struggle to meet them.
Although the popular masses are the masters of the revolution, they do not as such on their own hold the position as the master and play the role. Therefore, only when one helps the popular masses to have the awareness as being the master of the revolution and leads perform responsibility and role as such, it be said that he has a correct concept of viewing the popular masses as the master of the revolution and the stand of serving them.
- The revolutionary outlook on the masses is the concept and attitude of doing the revolution by believing in the strength of the masses and relying on it.
What is the concept of believing in the strength of the masses, what is the attitude of doing the revolution by relying on it?
Believing in the strength of the masses means believing the fact that anything can be done with strength.
In other words, it means viewing of the masses the popular masses as the cleverest, the most diligent and powerful beings in the world.
Talented masters have always been found among the popular masses. Prominent scientists or well-known artists or outstanding politicians or famous generals are all from the masses.
All material and cultural wealth in this world were created by the creative activity of the people and so were great social changes.
So one must see through the great strength of the people and believe it.
If one does not believe their strength and talents, be will fall into dogmatism and subjectivism and indulge in bureaucracy and despotism.
What will happen, then?
There goes an aphorism of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il ;
His saying teaches the truth that if one believes the strength of the masses and rely on it, he will win in the revolution, but if one betrays and keeps away from them, he will fail in the revolution.
When one has the concept of believing the strength of the masses, he will maintain the attitude of doing the revolution by relying on the strength of the masses in practice.
Doing the revolution by relying on the strength of the masses means solving all problems in the revolution and construction by organizing the masses.
When one correctly organizes the masses with the concept that the popular masses are teachers and the motive force of advancing the revolution, he will emerge victorious, otherwise, he cannot escape the failure.
What is important to propel by believing relying on and the strength of the masses?
It is important to awaken the people ideologically and unit them organizationally.
Of course, the strength of the masses is powerful. However, no matter great the strength of the masses is, it is not to displayed of it own accord. The masses who are not awakened ideologically consciousness cannot rise up in the revolutionary struggle oppressed though they are exploited and are unable to transform nature and society in conformity with their desire. It is only when they are awakened ideologically and united organizationally that they can display their strength to the full.
Actually, the strength of awakened and organized masses so great that it is qualitatively different with the arithmetic sum of the strength of individuals.
Awakening the masses ideologically and uniting them organizationally is the basic method to strengthen the power of the masses and to give full play to their inexhaustible talents and strength.
4. The Revolutionary Outlook
on Morality.
Now let’ s see the revolutionary outlook on the morality is the last point in the concept of and attitude towards the motive force of the revolution.
In order to lead a worthwhile life on the road of revolution one must possess the revolutionary outlook on morality.
Generally speaking, the outlook moral is the concept of and attitude towards morality.
Then, what is morality?
Morality is the social standards of behaviour which are supposed to be observed willingly according to one’ s conscience, not through coercion or control. Here the social standards of behaviour is the order of behaviour which the members of society must observe for the collective life of society.
There are law as well as morality in the social standards of behaviour. Morality and law have commonness in that both of them are the social standards of behaviour which people must observe, but they are different from each other on the way of how and by what they are observed. The factor that guarantees people to observe the law authority whereas the factor that guarantees them to observe morality is the conscious.
The outlook on morality is the concept of and attitude towards morality, the social standards of behaviour that must be observed willingly by people through the conscious.
How one lives depends on by what outlook on morality he has.
In class society, people have different outlook on morality according to their social and class status, some of which are correct and some of which are wrong.
Wrong outlook on morality will make one to live a dirty life with a bare moral traits.
Those who betrayed the country, people, and the revolution for sake of their indolence and riches and honours were without doubt the possessors of bare moral traits.
Man of without conscience, man who does not have any sense of moral obligation is not treated by people as human being. Man without moral sense is as same as animal.
One must have a correct on morality, i.e. revolutionary outlook on morality, if he wants to truly on the road of the revolution.
Only then, is it possible for one to acquire noble traits as human being and become a true revolutionary.
What is the revolutionary outlook on morality?
The revolutionary outlook on morality is the concept of and attitude towards the revolutionary morality. In other words, it is the concept and attitude of regarding the revolutionary morality, the standards of people’ s behaviour which are based on the revolutionary conscience as the true morality of social being and abiding by it.
The revolutionary conscience is the most precious conscience. Because it is a noble trait and a high sense of responsibility to value the interests or social collective more than that of an individual and to perform the duty assumed before society and the collective of one’ s own accord.
So far, we’ ve studied about what is the revolutionary outlook on morality.
Then, what are the contents of the revolutionary outlook on morality?
Largely, there are two aspects in its content.
One is the concept of and attitude towards morality that must be observed in the relationship between the collective and individuals; the other is the concept of and attitude towards morality that must be kept in the relationship between individulas.
- Concept of and attitude towards morality that must be observed in the relationship between the collective and individuals.
Since people live a collective life in society, they are always in relation with the social collective.
This necessarily requires one to have a moral sense in relation with the social collective.
What is the moral sense that one must have in relation the collective?
In a word, it is that one should value the interests of the collective more than that of individual and serve the collective with devotion.
The interests of the collective and individuals are united into one in the social collective where people have same purpose and aspiration, rallied around one organization and shore the same destiny. This means that the interests of individuals is in that the collective and that the interests of the collective is identical to that of individuals.
But it does not mean that the interests of the collective and that of individual carry the same weight.
